Overview

The Kathmandu Model Hospital (KMH) Department of Radiology is dedicated in providing correct and timely patient diagnosis and therapeutic interventional procedures when required for excellent patient care. The department is accountable for outcomes and ia always attentive to the needs of our patients.  Every year we give more than 14000 ultrasound services, conduct around 4000 CT scans and more than 50,000 X-rays. A total of about 2000 interventional procedures using radiography is done by our experts. We have an efficient team that comprises of expert radiologists, radiographers and technicians. Each report is verified by our experts before dispatching it to you.

We provide an environment for education of our trainees, staff, and healthcare professionals through scholarly conferences and continuing education programs. We improve human health by developing innovative imaging technology through basic and translational research . We have been supporting  the  different non-profit organization and government health institutions by providing our specialist in the field of radiology.  We recruit and develop dedicated faculty and health professionals who inspire their co-workers and students towards lifelong learning, research discovery, service to their community and clinical excellence.

24 hour services :

Our technicians will be available 24 hours to serve our patients. Each report is carefully seen and prepared by our specialists.

Our expert doctors are available during hospital  hours, while the service is available 24*7 to serve all the  emergency patients.

• X-ray (All x-ray related procedures e.g Barium procedures, MCU, RGU, Sinogram, fistulogram e.t.c)
• Multislice CT Scan (Whole body scan, cerebral angiography)

• Ultrasound (video X-Ray) (Dedicated Anamoly scan obstetric scan, Fetal echocardiography, Musculoskeletal USG , Doppler scan and all other USG guided interventional procedures)

We are located on the ground floor within the main OPD hospital building at Kathmandu Model Hospital.
