phect-NEPAL Domain

phect-NEPAL has been dedicatedly conducting multiple level programs realizing the people’s health rights in
action for the last 30 years. As a part of organizational restructure, it has introduced the four
main programme domains under the Health Care Services, Public Health Services, Academic Affaires & Development and Networking & Alliances building for policy Advocacy (i.e SPAN) approach

Healthcare Services

Healthcare Services domain serves as the Directorate and Coordinator for providing high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services in Phect-Hospitals and Healthcare Centers, which is one of the institute's primary program fields. There are two main hospitals included in this division: Kirtipur Hospital and Kathmandu Model Hospital. We firmly believe that everyone,
regardless of social or economic backgrounds, should have access to healthcare services.

Public Health Services

Public Health Services domain serves as the Directorate and Coordinator for promoting and protecting public health and preventing communicable and non-communicable diseases in communities as one of the institute's primary program domains. In this sector, phect-DPHS works at the local level to support the community in leveraging their own resources to address health-related concerns, to offer healthcare services when necessary, and to lobby on a broad range of public health topics. Through educational and awareness campaigns, health fairs, and other initiatives, DPHS works to encourage a healthy lifestyle and prevent illness in the community.

Academic Affairs and Developments

Academic Affairs and Development domain serves as the Directorate and Coordinator for developing innovative ideas and techniques in medical education, research, and training to meet the challenges and rising demands of the changing time and society as one of the institutes key program domains. phect-NEPAL operates a number of academic programs through its two primary academic institutions, the Kathmandu Model Hospital School of Oral Health and the Kathmandu Model Hospital School of Nursing, in order to provide high-quality education and prepare the next generation for professional lives in the health sector.
Additionally, these international medical students can participate in elective medical programs at our two hospitals. The medical internship program at phect-NEPAL has begun with approval from the Nepal Medical Council.

Networking and Alliances-building for policy advocacy

Networking and Alliances-building for Policy Advocacy serve as the Directorate and Coordinator for Networking, Alliance-building, and Policy Advocacy for Essential People's Health Rights and Access to Quality Healthcare at a Free and Affordable Cost as one of the Institute  Main Programme Domains. Under the overarching subject of "empowering people through health action," phect-NAAD analyzes the possibilities and challenges when involving advocacy dynamics networking, alliance-building, and collaboration for enhancing the public health system.
